01Operation & speed
Choose synchronized tapping/thread feed, simple drilling or peck drilling. Spindle speed uses n = 1000·Vc/(π·D); if a machine limit is entered, RPM is clamped and actual cutting speed is recomputed.
02Thread lead & synchronized feed
For synchronized tapping or single-point thread feed, axial feed per spindle revolution equals thread lead. Thread lead = pitch × number of starts. No standard thread table is assumed.

02Simple drilling cycle
Feed rate uses Vf = fn·n. Time includes feed depth, initial/final clearance motion and dwell; acceleration, spindle ramp and controller overhead are excluded.
Commonly used for straightforward drilling-cycle planning. Verify the exact installed cycle interface, reference plane/depth conventions and return behavior on the machine before programming.
02Peck / deep-hole drilling cycle
The model explicitly estimates feed and rapid travel. Chip-break mode uses short retract/re-approach moves. Full-retract mode returns to clearance, rapidly re-approaches to the entered gap before the previous depth, then traverses that gap again at feed before cutting deeper.
Use the calculated peck strategy as an engineering planning aid only. CYCLE83 parameter sets and behavior can vary with software generation, OEM integration and selected deep-hole/chip-breaking options; verify the machine-specific manual.
