Silo flow-pattern screening.
Screen a proposed hopper against test-derived mass-flow and outlet requirements, then expose which bulk-solids test data are still missing. Geometry is compared with measured design limits rather than guessed from generic angles.
01Vessel & hopper geometry
Hopper angle is measured from vertical. Conical and plane-flow hoppers require different design treatment, so the entered test-derived mass-flow limit must correspond to the selected geometry.
02Test-derived design limits
Enter values from wall-friction / shear-cell based design work for this material, moisture condition, wall surface and hopper geometry. Use 0 when a value has not been established.
03Bulk-solids test-data readiness
These checks do not create a design by themselves. They document whether the core information normally needed to evaluate reliable storage and discharge has been established for representative material conditions.
